An Epic Soccer Tournament, The Roldan and Two New Seasonals

Our new seasonals kick off on June 11 — along with what's bound to be an epic tournament. All our stores with TVs (that's every location but Valley, 85th, and Crossroads) will show the tourney games through the July 19 final. For those of you looking for a lunch deal, we're offering a buy-one-get-one on slices at all stores (except Valley) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. through June 30. Use the coupon code SUMMERSLICE to claim your free slice.

The Roldan (after Cristian Roldan, Sounders star and U.S. national team midfielder) features meaty soppressata, sweet pineapple, pickled jalapeños, mozzarella for that creamy savoriness, and a drizzle of hot honey over our seasoned tomato sauce. It's a pizza with an irresistible balance of sweet-salty-spicy. Not only is this a crowd pleaser, but the pie is the heart of our partnership with RAVE Foundation, the official charity of the Seattle Sounders and Seattle Reign. The arrangement is simple. Order The Roldan pizza by the slice or as a whole pie, and we'll donate $1 to RAVE, up to our goal of $10,000 — enough to buy 500 soccer balls for kids in underserved communities.

Prized for their nutty, earthy flavor, morels show up on their own schedule, for just a few fleeting weeks. The mushroom sleuths at Foraged & Found Edibles scour our local forests and fill our baskets. With a plentiful supply, it's time for our Chicken Sausage & Morel Primo seasonal. It features Isernio's all-natural chicken sausage, a blend of rosemary-roasted morels and crimini mushrooms, mozzarella, and our seasoned tomato sauce.

If you love onions, our Crostata will make you swoon. The Walla Walla sweet onion, Washington's famous state vegetable, gets its gentle sweetness from the sandy loam and climate of the Walla Walla Valley. We caramelize sweet onions, layer them over an olive oil base, and blanket the pie with a blend of Gorgonzola, mozzarella, and fontina.

For those who didn't grow up with it, Seattle Times food writer Bethany Clement called our Pesto Salad a "deeply satisfying combination…perfect for a quick lunch or supper," and we couldn't agree more. The legendary salad is now a seasonal. So get it while you can. It features penne, sweet peas, tomatoes, Parmesan, and a creamy pesto dressing. If you're interested in the original recipe, artichokes can be substituted for the tomatoes.

And don't skip dessert. Our seasonal ice cream is Molly Moon's Strawberry Matcha — beautiful and irresistibly delicious. A robust green tea ice cream made with organic matcha from Redmond's Sugimoto Tea and a touch of lemon juice, swirled with thick ribbons of Molly Moon's homemade strawberry jam.
Our new seasonals run June 11 through July 7. The Roldan will be available through July 19.
