With the farmers' markets overflowing with local produce, this is one of the best times of year for eating well. Local, fresh-from-the-field fruits and vegetables not only taste better, but buying them supports local producers, keeps jobs in our area, and minimizes the fossil fuels used in shipping. All three of our new seasonal offerings use local fruit and produce.
Our Peachza Primo has the perfect balance of flavors—peachy, tangy, delicious. Our tribute to Washington state peaches features savory roasted pork loin layered with juicy peaches from Eastern Washington over mozzarella and an olive oil base. Out of the oven, we top the pie with fresh peppery arugula and a tangy drizzle of balsamic reduction.
The Tomato Basil features farm-fresh tomatoes that we slow roast with balsamic, vinegar, garlic and basil. The result is a caramelized tomato with intense depths of flavor. We layer them over olive oil and mozzarella. After baking, we top the pie with fresh basil.
Finally, since pizza goes better with gelato, don’t forget our seasonal gelato.
