Envision Zero: Our Sustainability Quest

Pagliacci is working to become carbon neutral with zero waste.

At Pagliacci, sustainability is more than a buzzword — it's a commitment that we made over a decade ago. We've come a long way in reducing our carbon footprint, thanks in no small part to our crew, who have been invaluable in guiding us towards a greener future. Together, we celebrate Earth Day by doubling down on our efforts.

Notable Achievements to Date:

  • We are the second largest purchaser of green power in Seattle.

  • We use FSC (Forest Stewardship Council)-certified paper products.

  • We are pursuing LEED certification and have obtained it for some of our locations.

  • We collaborated with Cedar Grove Composting to develop commercial composting programs that are now used throughout the Seattle area.

Our Madison location is LEED certified.

All of our boxes are made with FSC-certified paper.

New! We are elevating our game with EVs.

Our Envision Zero initiative aims to move us above carbon neutrality and zero waste. We're continuing our efforts by purchasing a few electric vehicles for our delivery fleet, which will not only reduce our carbon footprint but also provide an opportunity for employees without cars to drive for us.

Expanding E-Bike Delivery

We're also expanding our use of e-bikes for delivery, which have been a hit with both our crew and customers.

We thank Nate Farhner, the Driver Lead of our Pike Street location, for being the catalyst for our e-bike program.

In addition to pursuing bold new ways to reduce our carbon footprint, we’re continuing to expand our composting programs, increasing our purchase of green power, and producing sustainable paper products.

Our efforts have already made a significant impact, but we know there's still much work to do to achieve our goal. We thank you for supporting us in this endeavor. Together, we can make the future proud.
