Dream Team: Hello Robin, meet Molly Moon’s

Molly Moon's Ice Cream Sandwich

Before opening Hello Robin, Robin Wehl Martin’s homemade cookies were legendary among her friends (OK, she won a few local cooking prizes, too, including one for “Overall Awesomeness”). She made her cookies with eggs from Molly Moon Neitzel’s chickens. Still, she’d never really considered turning her passion into a business. Then, in 2013, she received a text from Molly Moon's husband, Zack, sparking a delightful partnership in the form of a neighborhood cookie bakery.

Using high-quality local ingredients such as Theo Chocolate and Shepherd’s Grain flour, Hello Robin’s cookies soon found local fame. Soon Hello Robin had won Seattle Magazine's Readers' Choice award for "Best Cookies" in Seattle two years in a row. In 2020, Hello Robin expanded with a second shop in University Village and now offers frozen bake-at-home cookie dough at local markets.

So the new ice cream sandwich feels like a homecoming of sorts: Their Vanilla Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich features a generous helping of Molly Moon’s Sweet Cream sandwiched between two of Hello Robin’s Classic Chocolate Chip cookies (their bestseller).

Too much of a good thing? You’ll have to give it a try and see for yourself. We double dog dare you. (You’ll triple your order next time!)

They’ll stir up memories of being a kid chasing down an ice cream truck — only these ice cream sandwiches are from a different culinary world.

Due to limited freezer space at our stores, supplies are limited. Get them while you can.
