Bridle Trails Closes October 5 for a Remodel

Our Bridle Trails store closes Monday, October 5, for a remodel. We plan to reopen in early November for pickup and walk-in orders. The finished dining room should be ready the week of Thanksgiving.

If you order delivery, continue ordering the way you always have, in the app, on the website, or by phone. Our Juanita or Redmond store will bake your pizza and bring it to your door. For pickup or dining in, our Juanita and Redmond stores are glad to welcome you. Juanita is at 11640 98th Avenue NE in Kirkland. Redmond, one of our newest stores, is at 16311 Redmond Way in downtown Redmond, near the light rail station. If you haven’t made it out there yet, October is a fine month to go.

The remodel begins at the front door. The first thing you’ll see when you walk in is the slice bar and behind it the kitchen, opened up so that you can see the cooks who toss the dough and slide the pizzas into the oven. For the nights when you’re in a hurry, there will be a grab-and-go cooler next to the slice bar.

Pickup is a popular choice at Bridle Trails, and the remodeled store will have a rack of wooden shelves under a large pickup sign, with the soda fountain alongside, so that you know where to go the moment you come in. Your pizza will be waiting on one of them. The dining room will grow from 26 seats to 39, with booths, tables and chairs, and a bar counter with stools. The building exterior will also get a fresh look.

All the kitchen work will happen while we’re closed. When we reopen in early November, the counter will be ready for pickup and walk-in orders, but most of the dining room will still be under construction. The finished room, new seats and all, should be ready the week of Thanksgiving.

Bridle Trails opened on November 18, 1998, one of our first stores on the Eastside. Jeff Woodruff, now our Chief Operating Officer, was the opening general manager. For six years the store sat underneath TechCity Bowl, far from the street. Customers found us anyway, and Seattle Times readers named us Best Eastside Pizza. In March 2005 we moved to our corner at NE 70th Place and 130th Avenue NE in Kirkland, into a former 7-Eleven.
