The Return of a Classic Salad and More

The Fan Favorite Pesto Salad is back for a limited time!

As the long, beautiful summer tapers off and we slide into fall, hoping for a few more warm weekends, we’re still fortunate to have access to late summer harvest gems like fresh, plump figs, golden beets, fresh basil, and marionberries. We're thrilled to bring back two favorite seasonal pizzas, a gelato, and a favorite salad.

We're delighted to announce that an updated version of our Pesto Salad is back for a limited time. Shortly after we pulled it from the menu, Seattle Times' food writer, Bethany Jean Clement, sought to reverse-engineer it and provide a recipe for those missing the cult favorite. She described the salad as a "deeply satisfying combination…perfect for a quick lunch or supper, particularly in hot weather." Our new version replaces the artichoke hearts with fresh tomatoes. The salad features penne, sweet peas, parmesan, tomatoes, and a creamy pesto dressing. It’s here through October 4, so get it while you can.

With a bumper crop of plump, fresh figs, it’s the ideal time for our Prosciutto Fig Primo seasonal pizza. Figs have been a staple in Italy since Roman times and few things complement them better than delicate, salty prosciutto. Salt, fat, acid — this pizza has it all in perfect balance. We layer premium prosciutto with sliced farm-fresh figs over creamy fresh mozzarella on an olive oil base. Garnished with fresh basil.

For those who crave something a bit different, The Beet Pizza is an innovative treat. Roasted golden beets — sweet, earthy, and tender — take center stage. Red onions, caramelized in balsamic vinegar, and creamy goat cheese complement the sliced beets over a combo of mozzarella and fontina on an olive oil base. Red chili flakes add a touch of heat, and a sprinkling of fresh parsley tops it off.

And for dessert? Indulge in our Marionberry Vanilla Cream. Oregon marionberries, the crème de la crème of blackberries, are swirled with custardy vanilla bean gelato by Gelatiamo. It's a dreamy blend of sweet cream and tart berries that will leave you craving more.

We invite you to savor these flavors while they last. After all, like summer, they're here for a good time — not a long time. Enjoy!
