Italian-Inspired Seasonals for the New Year

We’re in the mood for Italian — again! There’s just something enchanting and sensuous about Italian cuisine that warms our hearts this time of year. Actually, anytime. We love the beautiful alchemy Italians use to elevate simple tastes and textures into something extraordinary. Both of our new seasonal pizzas take their inspiration from Italy, and our seasonal gelato puts an Italian spin on an American favorite.

Inspired by Rome's classic street pizza, Patate al Rosmarino, our Rosemary Potato pizza offers a simple yet sophisticated taste. It features thinly sliced roasted potatoes tossed with fragrant rosemary, paired with tender chicken marinated for a hint of sweetness and spice, and complemented by pickled red onions, fresh parsley, and a blend of mozzarella and kasseri cheese, all on an olive oil base. A sprinkle of red pepper flakes adds just the right amount of heat.

Our Quattro Primo is a tribute to the Northern Italian classic Quattro Formaggi. It blends four distinct cheeses: the nutty depth of Gruyère, the subtle smokiness of provolone, the smoothness of fontina, and the classic creaminess of mozzarella, all layered over our signature pizza sauce. We top the pie — in the signature colors of the Italian flag — with fresh tomatoes and basil.

Gelatiamo’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough is an Italian spin on the American favorite and the best we’ve tried. Chunks of raw cookie dough (made without raw eggs for food safety) are studded with Guittard semi-sweet chocolate chips. Brown sugar and vanilla give the salty-sweet cream gelato base that classic cookie dough flavor.
