In 2006, just before everyone started going green, we decided to promote being greener as we oursleves were taking steps to become greener as a company through composting, using renewable energy, finding sustainable packaging and using environmentally friendly cleaning supplies. Our pizza boxes contained the following conservation tips and green statistics:
Americans eat approximately 100 acres of pizza each day. A good percentage of that pizza generates a food soil box that cannot be recycled. Consider composting. Contact your waste management company to see if they have a composting program in place.
